Laci Green: I have three proposals to work against weight discrimination, fat shame, and fat phobia. 1: “fat” isn’t a bad word, 2: it’s not about “health,” 3: love thyself.

(thanks for the gif set schweetie! <3)

You don’t have to justify your body.

If you’re thin, you don’t have to say ‘but I eat all the time!’/’I have a fast metabolism!’

If you’re fat, you don’t have to say ‘it’s genetic!’/’I’m trying to lose weight!’

You don’t need to explain to anybody why your body is the way it is. Your body is YOUR body, and that’s all the justification you need.

Are you an eating disorder recovery and/or positivity blog?

edrecoverythings:

Or can you recommend any? I’m putting together a list of blogs you can turn to for advice and inspiration. Will happily follow and promote any blog that fits these descriptions, unless featuring thinspo and the like.

Stay strong, loves <3
